Royd Gracie?

MMA Legend, Royce Gracie tested positive for Nandrolone, a form of anabolic steroid, according to the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) as reported on Sherdog.com.

Gracie has been suspended until May 30 of 2008 and has been fined $2,500 by the CSAC.

Thought the monetary penalty might seem minor, the damage to Gracie's reputation in the world of Mixed Martial Arts could be the most costly.

Gracie most recent bout with Kazushi Sakuraba at K-1 Heroes Dynamite on June 2, went the distance with Gracie winning a unanimous decision. This came months after Gracie suffered a TKO at the hands of, then UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughs at UFC 60.

Some are speculating that Gracie's decision to use performance enhancing drugs is a result of his loss to Hughs. After the loss, many felt that Gracie and the older generation of MMA fighters could not compete with the fighters of today.
