Manly Movie Moment [6/18/07]

Today's MMM from 'They Live' (1988) is a favorite of the 'Stiff Drinks' staff, and it's also a reference point for the creators of 'South Park"-- the famous 'Cripple Fight' scene is a direct send-up of John Carpenter's cult classic, staring former WWF legend Rowdy Roddy Piper and US Army commercial voice-overist Keith David.

Above all the clip teaches men a valuable lesson; if someone is forcing you to wear their sunglasses and you don't want to, just knee them in the balls a bunch of times. And they say diplomacy is more effective than force. "Put the glasses on!"

UFC 75 Card Update

Michael Bisping Vs. Ken Shamrock

Michael Bisping will face Ken Shamrock (26-12-2) — not Matt Hamill as previously reported — at UFC 75 on September 8 in London, England, according to Loretta Hunt at FightNetwork.com.

Many of you might remember that Ken Shamrock, formerly known as "The Worlds Most Dangerous Man" was a coach on Ultimate Fighter 3-- the season in which Bisping was the winner of the light heavy weight group. There was some bad blood between Coach Ken and Bisping, which might explain the appeal of this match up, if indeed it is authentic.

The official UFC Card will be released sometime next week and we will know if Bisping Vs. Shamrock is a reality. Here at stiff drinks, we hope it's nothing more than a rumor. It's hard to watch a legend like Shamrock continue to fight past his prime.

Myspace Chick of the Day

We are venturing into new territory with today's Myspace chick-- the new territory being any place other than the NY metro area. Jaleesa comes to us from "both Texas and LA". Not possible, but ok.

The good thing about Jaleesa is that she seems honest. That's more than I can say about the other girls we have had in the past. Some of you might remember the MCD that was a student in NY, yet claimed to earn 100G a year, or the "Accounts Manager" from Friday. Jaleesa doesn't front. She straight up admits that she makes 30G a year as a bank teller, and her pictures confirm that honestly isn't her only fine quality.

We're in a good mood today here at 'Stiff Drinks'. A weekend trip to the lovely city of Boston has softened us up...lucky for Jaleesa. But check out her page and see if you sense anything suspicious.
